Bodhi Patil, 21 years old
Bodhi Patil is a UN-recognized, award-winning GenZ ocean-climate “Solutionist” dedicated to improving the interconnectedness between ocean and human health. He is co-creator/cofounder of Ocean Uprise and SeaDragon Studios and advises several love-based eco-organizations on a mission to protect our planet. He is a student leader in the BA + Masters of Management program at the University of British Columbia studying oceans, climate action, and business. Connect with him and learn more here.
Navahine Fukumitsu, 17 years old
Navahine Fukumitsu is from Hakipu‘u, O‘ahu, where her family has cultivated kalo on ancestral lands for ten generations. Raised with a deep connection to the ‘āina, her upbringing fostered a profound commitment to environmental stewardship. A plaintiff in the youth-led constitutional lawsuit Navahine F. vs Department of Transportation, she is a passionate advocate for preserving her homeland. Navahine aspires to ensure that future generations can sustainably manage and cherish the land as her ancestors did. Her role as a youth advisor at Symbrosia highlights her dedication to driving positive environmental change, proudly contributing to initiatives that protect the natural beauty and resources of her home.
